Orc Crest - Icon Of Battle

After having written this blog it has re-ignited my passion for Wow Jewellery and the Warcraft Lore behind the designs so I have decided that I will post a complete set of all the WOW Racial Crests, with the intention that I will have designs for all of them sketched and made up into items to complete my personal set of WOW pendants in the future.
The obvious next one for me to do is the “Old Enemy” the Orcs.
The Orcs were born on the world of Draenor, they came to Azeroth through the Dark Portal and started the First World of Warcraft War against the humans while under the influence of the Burning Legion.
The Orcs were once a noble, shamanistic society on Draenor but were corrupted by the Burning Legion and used as pawns in the Legion’s invasion of Azeroth. The Orcs managed to rebel, however, and they were ultimately, during the Third World of Warcraft War, able to help turn the tide against their Demon masters. Led by the Warchief Thrall, the Orcs have reclaimed their strength and honour and have settled in Kalimdor where they have founded the nation of Durotar.
The concept of honour is the most important element of Orcish society for an Orc, honour is as important as his Clan, and most will die defending either Clan or personal reputation. Orcs now have embraced a life of wisdom, honour and the values embodied in the leadership of Thrall.
Now, the Orcs stand ready to fight not for the sake of conquest, but for their very right of survival in their new adopted world.
The Orcs racial crest is The Icon of Battle. The wolves represent the Frostwolf Clan, as well as the Orcs‘ kinship with wolves, and the crossed axes symbolize their skill in battle. The Symbol of the Horde at the centre of the shield represents the Orcs in the Horde Racial Crest.
Gnome Crest - Icon of Technology

Icon of Technology
I have had this Crest made into a piece of Wow Jewellery but it was a Gift for a friend as I have no Gnome character. I will endeavour to find the original drawings and sketches and a picture of the completed Jewellery piece as I think it looks really good made up in solid Sterling Silver . Once I have them I will add to this post. Edit - (Picture of pendant now included)
The Gnomes’ city of Gnomeregan was built into Ironforge Mountain, but the invading troggs destroyed it and slaughtered its citizens. Many of the surviving Gnomes moved into Khaz Modan and now live with the Ironforge dwarves, others travelled with their Dwarven allies to Kalimdor.
The origin of the Gnomes is not totally clear, however, the quest The Mechagnomes hints that the Gnomes actually began life as a “species” of robots created in Ulduar by a Titan known as “The Grand Architect” and that the changeover from a mechanical robot to a flesh species was an expected part of the process and part of the overall plan when creating them. Gearmaster Mechazod has the power to turn the Gnomes back to their original robot form.
The Gnomes were of great help to the Alliance during the Second War, they built vehicles and gadgets for the
Alliance including submarines and flying machines to help defeat the Horde.
Oddly however, the Gnomes declined to send any forces to the aid of the Alliance during the Burning Legion’s recent invasion during the Third War, although their designs did help to turn the tide against the Legion.
The Humans and the Ironforge and Wildhammer Dwarves were shocked and puzzled by Gnomeregans decision to withhold their stout-hearted troops and pilots.
The Crest of the Gnomes – Icon of Technology, displays engineering tools and bolts, this is to represent their skill with developing technology. The Gnomes are represented by the cogs in the Crest of the Alliance.
