I had this item of Wowjewellery made, as a Pendant, for a close friend of mine, whose Night Elf Hunter has quested with me for over four years and we have experienced all the wonders of World of Warcraft together, she is also the friend who did all the sketches for the Jewellery pieces

The Night Elf crest shows the raven or an owl, these are important animals for night elves. It also has a Crescent Moon, tying into the Night Elves faith and their worship of the moon. Then there are the arrows, representing their Marksmanship skill, and their melee weapon the Moonglaive.

The Night Elves are represented on the Alliance Crest by the arrows and a hippogryph.

The Kaldorei, are an ancient race of nocturnal feral nomads who were created during the waking of the world. They lived a primitive existence in the jungles of Kalimdor. Until, during their journeys through Kalimdor they discovered the Well of Eternity, and drawn by its mystic force they settled nearby in their crude dwellings, over time the Well’s power affected the tribe, making them strong, wise, and virtually immortal. The name Kaldorei means “Children of the Stars”.

Their history has shaped them into a devoted warrior race, with a reverence for nature and animistic mystical forces.

The Night Elves and the Quel’dorei “Highborne” or Noble Children were the two castes within the Kaldorei.

Elune the moon goddess is the most prominent figure of worship in the Night Elf culture, this is represented on the Night Elf Crest by the Crescent Moon.
